We want to invite you to IFoLG events. Our guild belongs to and enjoys the benefits of the International Federation of Leather Guilds. Throughout the year guilds hold local events as well as the annual IFoLG show.
You can download the Workshop schedule, instructor biographies, and workshop information here.
You can download the Workshop registration form here and register for workshops up until the workshop begins.
Tandy has approached us to sponsor a Jim Linnell class. I will let you know as soon as I have further details.
Here are some responses to questions:
• You can register for a workshop up until the workshop begins. You can send checks before the conference. At the conference, we will need cash payment.
• Your workshop seat is reserved when we receive your payment. We can’t hold a seat without payment.
• If a class is full or cancelled, we will contact you to discuss options. If you specify on the workshop registration form that these are the only workshops you are interested in, then we will refund for the workshops that are not full or cancelled.
• If you are sending in workshop registration forms for your family, we need a form for each student but you can pay for your family with one check.
HERMANN OAK TOUR:
On Friday there will be a limited space available "working" tour of the Hermann Oak Tannery. We will rent a bus that can take 40 people to the tannery for this tour. The cost will be $20 to cover the bus as there is not parking at the Tannery. There are some steep steps to the top floor of the tannery to the drying rooms that are NOT handicap acessible as the Tannery has been in business in the same building since the 1880's. You are welcome to take the tour and wait on the first or second floors if you can not make these stairs. I would suggest that if you intend to take the tour to bring old shoes. There is often tanning solution and water on the floor when you are on the first floor. Tour will be first come/first paid list sign up.
Currently 35/40 spots filled for the tour
Hermann Oak has decided to provide lunch for those on the tour and will be giving leather in a size that will fit in suitcases to travel home to tour goers.
